Operation Backpack 2009

 Making a Difference in the Our Community!

Operation Backpack is an annual event hosted by East Coast Believers Church and other local partners in the Central Florida community. Over the past two years Operation Backpack has provided, at no cost to the families, over 1300 backpacks filled with school supplies.

  

This year your help is needed more than ever.  With your support on August 8, 2009 we plan to provide over 1250 supply-filled Backpacks to children from the Central Florida area.  Read more about the events happening that day.

 

East Coast Believers Church is able to purchase a supply-filled Backpack for approximately $15.00 each (suggested retail value – just under $80.00).  A great savings, but we still need your help.   

 

Here is a list of suggested items that are needed to make August 8, 2009 an AWESOME community event!  Please join us and the other businesses and individuals from our community who are helping make this day a success!

Guidelines for Backpacks that are being distribuited
August 8th 2009
 Arrive early to register.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.
You must complete one Registration Form per family.  One backpack per student present.
If your child is not present, a birth certificate is required to receive ONE backpack.
Backpacks are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
Please be patient this process could take a few hours!
